Our team

Josephine Amato, LMHC

I have over ten years experience working with individuals as a therapist and four years practicing EMDR with individuals of all ages and walks of life. I strive to help empower clients to work with their own positive qualities, identify their strengths and make necessary changes. I believe that everyone has the potential to live happy and fulfilling lives. Our life experiences and stressors can make this feel extremely difficult. Seeking out help at these times can be helpful and is a very courageous step. I am currently offering EMDR in an intensive model.

Stephanie Karlson, LMHC

I am an LMHC and Creative Arts Therapist with over 15 years of experience helping people with problems related to depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders. Many of my clients find that through the creative process such a visual art, music and writing, they are able to reconnect with a more authentic part of themselves. This process can be particularly helpful for decreasing stress, anxiety, increasing self esteem, regulating mood, increasing focus and concentration, and enhancing communication skills. Ultimately, I am dedicated to providing a safe and trusting therapeutic alliance to encourage healthy change, and personal growth.

Madelyn Omelchuck

Licensed Mental Health Clinician

Hi. I am Maddy. I love to work with individuals on symptoms of anxiety, depression and issues that come from big transitions such as moving away from home, going to college, ending a relationship ect! Individuals who want to work on strategies related to self esteem and personal growth are ideal!

I specialize in Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, more commonly known as DBT. This modality is often effective in helping individuals ground themselves, feel more in control of difficult emotions, and helps people feel comfortable being uncomfortable!

My focus is on helping persons experiencing depression, anxiety, and adjustment to life stressors while working on improving communication skills, building boundaries, and strengthening relationships.

I utilize empathetic and active listening with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques and an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy approach that not only validates and supports but helps to educate and empower you to initiate and embrace the change you want.

I firmly believe that we all have the ability to live the life that we want. Therapy can help you to identify goals and learn strategies, coping mechanisms and interventions to achieve the mental wellness you desire and deserve.

Amber Samuels

Licensed Certified Social Worker

Finding a therapist who is “the right fit” in terms of logistics, personality, skillset, and accountability is not an easy process. Thank you for considering me to be part of your mental health treatment team. I am a licensed & insured social worker offering sessions to clients who can meet virtually within Massachusetts.

I have over 8 years of directly working with clients aged 16-70 from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds in residential, community, and outpatient settings. I am a proud alumna of University of Central Florida and Framingham State University.

I place high value on normalizing the human experience and cultivating our therapeutic alliance throughout treatment. I draw from a combination of evidence-based strategies and lived experience to support clients who are motivated (or struggling with motivation) to work towards activating their fullest potential. My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and neurodiversity-affirming.  Currently accepting Telehealth Clients.
